  • Established Functions Don't Display in Design Function

    Hi,

I'm new to Navicat so asked my seasoned DBA why our stored procedures are called Functions (in Navicat) and why they don't show up when I want to edit the SQL/code. I've searched Google several times and poured through all of the MySQL Forum with no results. The Definition tab shows nothing is in the script. It was there several weeks ago and nobody seems to know what happened. Does anyone here know why (have even a half a clue) existing stored procedures might "disappear" (not be visible) from Design Function?

    Thanks,
    Scotty
Definition tab of Design Function is empty and should show existing SQL stored procedure.

    Hi Scotty,

In order to show the stored procedure definition, it requires that you must be the owner (i.e.'yourUserName'@'IP') of the routine or have SELECT access to the mysql.proc table. Please check whether your user account has enough privileges.

For more information, please refer to
