  • Unable to change function comment with named parameter via function editor

    Example:

    CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION "casec"."isdatatable"("_tablename" text)
    RETURNS "pg_catalog"."bool" AS $BODY$
    BEGIN
    if Left($1,1)='T' THEN
    RETURN TRUE;
    else
    RETURN FALSE;
    end if;
    EXCEPTION WHEN others THEN
    RETURN FALSE;
    END;
    $BODY$
    LANGUAGE plpgsql IMMUTABLE STRICT
    COST 100

    Now I try to add / change comment via function editor which generates code:

    COMMENT ON FUNCTION "casec"."isdatatable"("""_tablename""" "pg_catalog"."_tablename") IS 'select * from isdatatable(''T21643312'')';

    and error

    ERROR: type "pg_catalog._tablename" does not exist

    Right code:

    COMMENT ON FUNCTION "casec"."isdatatable"("""_tablename""" "pg_catalog"."text") IS 'select * from isdatatable(''T21643312'')';
