  • Mac App Store version will not open my database

    Has anyone been able to open a sqlite database that was created with core data?

    I am a developer and I use Core Data -> sqlite to save my users data.

    I download the trial version of Navicat essentials sqlite and I can open the database in:

    //Users/John/Library/Application\ Support/MyApp/MyApp.sqlite

    I then deleted the trial app and bought the Mac App Store version. But I am unable to open the very same database!

    Is this a sandbox limitation?

    Has anyone been able to open a sqlite database created from core data using the Mac App Store version?

    Then error I get when trying to open the database (via a path connection) is:

    14 - Unable to open database.

    I even then deleted the App Store version, WENT back to the Trial version and it is able to open the database!

    Help?

    thx

    Hi catdbadmin,

    Please try to re-create the connection in Navicat App Store version to see if it can solve the problem.

      The App Store version is where I am having the problem.

      The trial version works fine.

      So the App Store version does not open my DB. it says it is unable to for some reason.

      ?
