  • Navicat 12 Premium (12.0.17) Import from Excel xlsx file ads decimal to integer

    Hello there,

Another import problem with version 12 where exactly the same works just fine with version 11 is that integer values in an Excel xlsx file get changed to decimal values in the import string, below example should have only integers:

    [2017-11-08 08:22:13.309] [ERR] [22001] [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]String or binary data would be truncated. (8152)
    [01000] [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]The statement has been terminated. (3621)

    [2017-11-08 08:22:13.309] [ERR] INSERT INTO
[dbo].[tbl_bestellingen_ebs] [Bestelaanvraag], [Microsectienummer], [Ontvanger], [Artikelomschrijving], [Besteld_aantal], [Afleverlocatie], [Kostenplaats], [Projectnummer], [Orderdatum], [Inkooporder], [Leverancier], [Ontvangstnummer], [Ontvangstdatum], [Ontvangen_aantal], [Ontvangen_eenheid])
    VALUES
    (N'40855653.0', N'20706.0', N'P.C. Assems', N'MICROSOFT SCULPT ERGONOMISCH TOETSENBORD EN MUIS QWERTY', 1.000000, N'NA-2603K', N'0001245', NULL, '2017-11-06', N'10696653.0', N'Coolblue BV', N'71097056.0', '2017-11-07', 1.000000, N'stuks')

    Kind regards,
    Eric

    Hi Eric,

Could you please provide us the following information? You can send to our support center and we will get back to you by email. - https://help.navicat.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

    1. The import source file.

    2. The sql file of the table if you are importing into an existing table. In Navicat, right-click the table and choose Dump SQL File > Structure Only.

    3. Screenshots showing all import wizard steps.
