  • Copying DB Names

In the previous versions before this new one, I found it quite handy to use the "Edit Database" to review the name of the DB, highlight and copy it, to use in another app such as when creating a new Word press instance. I do that on local instances all the time as I develop. My DB names are descriptive and useful to track things.

Well in this new version of Navicat, the name is there but greyed out. It can't be copied. I don't want to modify the name, just be able to copy it as in the previous version.

I would love it if the developers would make that possible again!

      Hi jmcbade,

We are glad to tell you that Navicat Premium (macOS) version 12.0.12 has been released and allowed copying the database name. Please upgrade to this latest version, you can simply choose Navicat Premium -> Check for Updates from the menu bar.
